Social Media Marketing Account Manager
 

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency recognized as one of Ad Age’s 2019 and 2020 Best Places to Work,  is currently seeking an Social Media Marketing Account Manager with 3-5+ years experience in social media marketing, including paid and organic strategies, to join our social media marketing team as a hybrid or in-office (Hunt Valley, MD) employee. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary forward-facing social media strategist on client account(s), building relationships with assigned clients and teams
  • Guide both organic and paid advertising strategies, as well as influencer initiatives
  • Execute social plans across organic, paid, and influencers,  in collaboration with various internal teams
  • Work with and guide design team to create visual elements
  • Offer occasional copywriting for social media ads and content, based on needs
  • Work with clients and internal teams to define success metrics and evaluate business impact of digital strategies and projects
  • Offer frequent monitoring and analysis of results across social platforms 
  • Develop and implement campaign optimizations
  • Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and plans
  • Maintain ongoing education around tactics and emerging trends relevant to the market industry, as well as client industries
  • Educate internal teams and clients on trends, behaviors, and technologies
  • Seek out ways to grow existing client business
  • Provide insights and recommendations when pitching new business

 What We Want from You:

  • 3-5+ years social media marketing experience, including paid and organic strategies, ideally at an advertising/marketing agency
  • Experience across both organic and paid social required
  • Experience communicating with internal and external audiences, including clients 
  • Hybrid or in-office presence, particularly for meetings, photo and video shoots, and other in-office needs 
  • Strong writing abilities and attention to detail
  • Adaptable, flexible
  • Positive and solutions-oriented attitude
