Social Media Marketing Senior Content Manager - Automotive
 

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency recognized as one of Ad Age’s 2019 and 2020 Best Places to Work, is looking to immediately hire a Social Media Senior Content Manager who has deep knowledge of both paid and organic social, and a knowledge of the automotive industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary forward-facing social media strategist on client account(s), building relationships with assigned clients and teams
  • Develop in-depth social media content strategies, defining strategic elements such as channels, audience, content types, tone of voice, etc. 
  • Work with clients and internal teams to define success metrics and evaluate business impact of social strategies
  • Gain buy-in and excitement on content strategies from internal and external audiences
  • Guide the strategy behind and production of monthly/quarterly editorial calendars, aligned with the content strategies
  • Work with the agency’s copywriters and content creators to concept and produce written content for monthly/quarterly editorial calendars
  • Work with and guide design team to create visual elements for monthly/quarterly editorial calendars
  • Offer occasional copywriting for social media content, based on needs
  • Oversee community management and engagement
  • Frequently analyze performance of content and overall strategy, guiding team to make shifts as needed
  • Guide and support paid social advertising strategies, as needed
  • Execute paid social plans in collaboration with various internal teams
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Maintain ongoing education around tactics and emerging trends relevant to the market industry, as well as client industries
  • Educate internal teams and clients on trends, behaviors, and technologies
  • Seek out ways to grow existing client business
  • Provide insights and recommendations when pitching new business

What We Want from You:

  • 4-6+ years social media marketing experience
  • Strong experience building and executing social strategies, with case studies and examples
  • Deep experience in content development and community management
  • Deep understanding of social metrics and KPIs
  • Strong creative thinking and copywriting skills
  • Adaptable, flexible
  • Positive and solutions-oriented attitude
  • Automotive industry experience and interest is preferred
